simple sunday

source: canon 450D

I'm actually not quite sure what I was thinking last year buying this belt. its so hideous. but it was 10$ and all spikey and studdy.. and I still am not too sure what I wanted it for. I've worn it maybe once, recoiled in horrow, threw it to the back of my wardrobe but was never able to throw it out. I've recently decided to wear it when I have that little gap in the midriff when wearing crop tops and not quite high enough bottoms. I truley grew up in the nineties because now any stomach showing reminds me of repressed memories of wearing too low jeans and too short lyrca tops. it happened. anyway, the only way I can wear this belt is when half of it is hidden by clothes, its way too thick and if I was ever to go for a look that gives me no defitintion from hips to boobs, it would be a good pick.

the shoes however deserve their own paragraph. Topshop's addisons have been on my want list from the moment they came out. they're so ridiculously comfy and at 14.5cm thats not eaasy. they're pretty flattering as well, unlike other chunky platform bootie type shoes i've seen. Trying to unload a pair on to all my friends who were made mildly interested, made me realise I haven't bought shoes in australia for so long. I remember being at the goldcoast and looking at a pair of siren shoes which were pretty nice, picking them up and staring at the 300$ price tag and synthetic lining. I'm not even going to start ranting about peeptoe shoes. I really wish australia would jump on the qaulity garment bandwagon, we've done pretty good at being relativity on trend for maybe the first time in 10 years

  7. I too couldn't believe the comfort of the Addison's and they are surprisingly easy to walk in.

To tell you the truth, I don't buy shoes in Australia either. Not unless they're from overseas, otherwise I just buy them online. Most styles are hard to find too.
