on the cheap

wearing: zimmerman silk blouse, siren shoes, supre ripped jeans, vintage chanel bag, sportsgirl pearls, utech cuff.

i love this bag i found it at one of the little vintage stores on crown st. the lining was all torn up and horrid, but i loved the colour and how massive it was so i ended up getting it. i still not too sure if its real chanel or not, but once i touched that buttery leather i didnt really care. yeah its the chanel that caught my eye but its how awsome the bag looks and feels that got my heart, so i guess it doesn't really matter. however getting the lining fixed up cost me more than the bag. I haven't worn it out for a good half a year, i almost ended up selling it because i thought id never wear it, no matter how much i loved it, just because my Nightingale goes everywhere. but then i realised its only because it was winter and now that its sunny and beautiful it really does look good with whitewashes, pastel dresses and sheer fabrics. the jeans were also either 5 or 10$ from supre, i realised it cause they must be ancient, they have a flare at the bottom.. which i cuffed to save myself from horrid young teenage memories of me wearing flared jeans and boobtube tops. mmmmm appealing i know ;) ive had heaps of people ask me about this cuff, its from a little shop in the galleries of victoria called utech, and i believe they're closing down or renovating? anyway... they had plenty, on sale last week when i visited.
