It's still ridiculously hot enough to wear this out in public without so much a hint of societal disapprovement at the number of naked limbs I'm swining around. If I still lived in Rose Bay I'd walk around in a bikini like most of the people on my street did to go to Franklins in the morning to get milk.

I'm not sure why but I never got into the whole balmain trend.. thing. While friends were lusting over sparkly shoes and enormous shoulders I just got a pair of sportsgirl shoulder pads and kind of didn't take it any further. Not that I didn't like it, I somehow never got around to it. So when I saw this vest for 29$ (valleygirl @ Pacific Fair) I thought I should buy it, if only to redeem myself. It's still too hot to layer so I'm wearing it as top, right now more than two layers of clothing seems unbearable.
